The girls of X-treme 14U Red played in the USSSA 16U “B” Fastpitch Fire tournament recently in Limerick. This tournament was to introduce them to what they will see next year and prepared them for the Memorial Day Tournament. What they left with was a first Place finish capped off by the 8-6 victory over the Southampton Blazers in the Championship. For the weekend the girls went 5-0-1, scoring 30 runs and allowing just 11. Jess Hagan, Vicki Schlott and Sarah Rambo pitched outstanding in their respective games and really showed everyone what they are made of. The team also finished in sixth place out of 56 teams at the Memorial Day tournament this weekend in all that heat.
