The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League is currently organizing and accepting registrations for their fourth season.

Local track legend Tony Darden will be coaching the program this year.

Darden is a former collegiate and Olympic track and field star and will be helping develop PAL's program further this year.

Parents looking to enroll their children can contact PAL's program director, Kenneth Fennal at 610-268-8040 or register in person at the PAL building, 340 Harding Blvd in Norristown.

A kick-off meeting will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 6 PM at the PAL building and practices will begin March 14 at Roosevelt field.

The East Norriton 8th grade girls basketball team celebrates their undefeated season. They won their last game against Valley Forge Middle School.
