The Jeffersonville Soccer Club U-10 Boys team won the Al Perlini Labor Day Tournament in Warminster on Saturday, Sept. 3, going undefeated in four games. Luke Wendler, 6, recently placed second in the Rookie 6 Main Event at the National Bicycle League Grand Nationals 2010, the Super Bowl of BMX races in Kentucky, Sept. 5. Wendler, a first-grade student at Plymouth Elementary School, has been competing in BMX racing since July and recently won a national in his age group during a competition in Connecticut. The precocious racer practices and races at Trilogy BMX Park in Pottstown. Luke was accompanied by his parents, Plymouth Meeting residents Becki and Larry Wendler, and sister Meghan to the event in Kentucky.
